Widely used in commercial breweries across North America, Five Star Liquid PBW is a buffered alkaline detergent that is a far better substitute for caustic soda cleaners. PBW is extremely effective in removing protein soils found on brew kettles, fermenters, conditioning tanks, and filters thanks to being formulated as a C.I.P. cleaner. Thanks to the formulation of buffers and mild alkalis, it is safe on both skin and soft materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics.

Liquid PBW mixes well even at lower water temperatures and is quicker to mix compared to standard powdered beverage wash.

Directions for use:

• Fill container with water, 50°F to 170°F
• Add liquid PBW at dosage rate of 1 to 2 ounces per gallon
• Soak for up to 30 minutes
• Safe on most materials including steel (do not use on wood or aluminum)
