The Pinot Noir wine grape is widely considered to produce some of the finest wines in the world, but it is a notoriously difficult variety to cultivate. Fortunately, the hard part has already been done for you.

This wine features notes of black raspberry, red cherry, and an earthy nuance.

Chile has a long wine history, beginning in the 16th century when Spanish conquistadors brought grapevines with them as they colonized the region. Chile's reputation as a producer of high-quality wines has grown dramatically in recent years, and it is now the fifth largest exporter in the world.

Pinot Noir is a little more delicate than other reds, so it pairs well with more delicate foods. Mushroom-based dishes work great, especially risotto. Goose, duck, venison, and lamb are also excellent choices. Sweet desserts, particularly with milk or dark chocolate, bring out the best in a Pinot Noir.
