This Dark Belgian Candi Sugar is a refined form of beet sugar and is completely fermentable. Candi sugar helps maintain the high alcohol content of certain Belgian ales while keeping them dry and crisp, avoiding an overly malty or sweet beer. This sugar will add additional colour and flavour. Lovibond rating is 275°L, although actual colour contribution is lower.
