Given the fast-moving developments surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic in recent days, we want to communicate to you, our valued client, the actions we are taking at Water'n'Wine to minimize risk.

Actions we are taking

We have limiting our hours to 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

We are enforcing 2 meters of separation between everyone in our store.

We are requesting that only one person from your party enter the store at any time.

Only one bottling station and one check-out will be available during this time.

The safety of our staff and their loved ones is our top priority. Several of our staff members have immuno-compromised family members at home and so we are taking this outbreak very seriously. We have encouraged our team to be vigilant about taking common-sense safety precautions including very regular hand-washing and avoiding face-touching.

Our standard winemaking protocols already include the regular bleaching of commonly-used surfaces. We are extending that protocol to the retail side of our operations, with very frequent sanitizing of surfaces like keyboards, payment terminals, and retail counters.

If you have wine in our facility

For now, we are bottling wine as per usual and disinfecting the equipment that our clients touch in-between each bottling appointment. We encourage our clients to follow COVID-19 directives laid out by the Province, including the 14-day self-isolation directive after interprovincial travel. Rest assured that we can store your wine here safely until you are ready for it. Our storage conditions are excellent and your wine can stay here for months with no compromise to the product. Take all the time you need.

Moving Forward

If anything changes for us with respect to our operations, such as adjusted hours or limited service, we will inform you by email.

Home winemakers: you probably already have chlorine detergent (the pink powder) at home that you use as part of your brewing. That detergent is a suitable disinfectant for hard surfaces in your home. Dilute as directed on the label and spray liberally on a clean paper towel as a substitute for disinfecting wipes.

Our doors are still open. We are proud to say that we are still operating responsibly with limited hours hours, offering a safe and pleasant experience for our clients, and offering our employees the option of working full-time or staying home.

This is a very difficult time for all businesses, particularly small ones. We're doing our best to serve you in a responsible way. We're all in this together!
